Golden Sands 514 is a modern beachfront condominium located in uptown Ocean City, MD. This cute and cozy studio apartment with one bath is all you need for your stay in the Golden Sands. This unit has a kitchen, sitting area with a couch, wall mounted TV, and queen size bed. The Golden Sands also has a unique private beach area and large oceanfront deck featuring many amenities like a kiddie pool, outdoor pool, lounge chairs, and a tiki bar to relax with a drink and a burger. This unit has a sleep capacity of two people making it the perfect romantic getaway spot!

Building Description

Direct ocean front and an uptown high rise building offering units from efficiencies to 3 bedroom apartments, all with central air. Thereï¿½s so much to choose from as far as activities at the building. First stop is your east facing balcony for sunrise or enjoying the view any time of the day. Try the indoor rooftop pool or the sundeck with umbrellas and chairs near the outdoor pool. The snack shack is near the kiddie pool, outside foot shower and the volleyball court. Thereï¿½s the exercise room, tennis, or the game room along with the onsite deli, mini market and sundries shop. Twenty-four hour security/management provides the single parking space. Four elevators. Nearby restaurants, shops and outdoor activities abound. Close to the-state-of -the art library and Northside Park for hikes, fishing or crabbing and the free Sunday outdoor concerts.

I went through vrbo and did everything online. I emailed the owner about what the apt. had and what we needed to bring but there was was no response by I couldn’t get back into my vrbo account. The information from the property manager answered our questions though and we brought what we needed.

The 5th-floor studio itself is comfortable, clean, with great ocean view. We enjoyed our room and its convenience to the beach. The check in/out process went smoothly even though you will have to pick up/drop off the keys about 1 mile from the room/studio. The lobby is rather congested with slow elevators.

We just wanted something small on the beach and this was MORE than we expected. The bed being right next to the balcony door was HEAVEN. We fell asleep to the sound of the ocean every night. The only negative was the elevator service...they need WAY more elevators to handle the traffic.

The building is older and could use some updating but the amenities are great. The unit itself is fine, had everything we needed. The bathroom is a bit small.

This was our first time staying at Golden Sands. We recommend staying here. It was clean and had everything that was needed. We were right on the beach which we loved. Beautiful sunrises and moonrises. We will be back for sure!!
